The project is aimed at promoting to promote international solidarity and intercultural dialog among young people from Poland, Ukraine, Moldova and Slovakia . Through intercultural learning we would like to combat negative stereotypes and prejudices within these countries and to motivate youngsters to develop a sense of tolerance and integration in Europe. We also want to discuss the role of frontiers in the EU and these countries. Through creating an art performance in Korchmyn (a small village located near the eastern frontier of the EU) we want to promote the idea of "Europe without borders." The youth exchange project will take place on 20 - 30 August 2005, in Ulhowek, Poland . We can accommodate four young people (ages 15 to 17) and six ages 18 to 25.The candidate are expected to be tolerant from a city in a borderland, have a good command of English language, artistic skills and a strong motivation to cooperate with partners from other countries.
